Office

Robert Bell founded his office in 1975. A graduate of the Yale School of Architecture and a founding faculty member of the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture. A registered architect in Washington, D.C. and Texas.

Over the last fifty years, he has had a small office which has specialized in custom homes and development projects primarily in historic Georgetown. The latest project being the restoration of the Georgetown theater. Other projects include the conversion of the Georgetown Police Station into residences and the restoration of Frances Scott-Key’s home.

When not in the office, Robert travels with his wife and family. He enjoys fly-fishing with his family in Colorado, playing the piano, good food, dancing and water-coloring.
